Last Day

Early start today to be in the first cage down at 7am. Dive guides worked hard chumming the waters and we only saw one shark just as we started to come up. Second dive wasn’t much better with two sharks and not a lot of action. Came out of that cage and went straight into the surface cage as they were bating the water with tuna heads. Managed to see a couple of bits from one large female shark called Sad Face. After lunch it was back in the cage for my last dive. This time Sad Face and another shark were coming quite close. Spent the next 90 minutes in the surface cage until they closed them and took them out of the water. Great three days diving. As soon as the cages were on board the boat left for its 22 hour transit back to port. Few beers and dinner before going to my happy place as the boat was moving.
