Book Club Luncheon

Book Clubs.  I've been in a book club (that has been going non-stop for over 20 years!) for a year or so.  We meet every two months for lunch and serious chat about books.  Our book today was Amy Tan's The Valley of Amazement. Long!  Tedious!  But this book has gotten a massive amount of good press.  If I wasn't reading it for Book Club, trust me, I would have stopped early on.  The funny thing was, not one of us would recommend it to a friend.  Not sure what people liked about it, but we did have a fun discussion.
