Roly, Polly and Fergus
Woke up feeling overwhelmed with everything that needs to be done to recruit another person. But good that when I checked my email I had six enquires already about the job. I just haven't got round to responding to any of them. I intended to sit down and blitz them this evening but Toby and Eva were late to bed because of swimming and I had a few errands to run after swimming so we didn't have dinner till 6.45pm. Then mike has gone out on his bike so had all the kitchen to clean up after dinner (he's a very messy cook) and then hoovered and sorted several loads of washing and I just don't have the energy to even turn the laptop on tonight.
Eva at preschool today. I was covering at work so missed my weekly ride in lime. Mike collected her in his lunch break, which she was so excited about. She did really well in her swimming lesson tonight- blowing bubbles and going on her back. The teacher seemed a lot better this week. At least she didn't try to drown her this week!! Toby had thirteen in his class. They kept swimming into each other as there was no space even though there was an empty area of pool and the teacher could have moved the ropes over. She was five minutes late starting the lesson and spend most of it looking at her register on her tablet because she doesn't know any of the children's names. She'd send one or two of them at at a time off across the pool, but then not even watch them swimming. Then she waited until the last group had got to the other side and then walked very slowly round to repeat the exercise from the other side of the pool. I think Toby got to swim 6 widths in the 25 mins left of his lesson. She kept telling them off for mucking round as they were supposed to stand at the edge of the pool to wait for the others but can hardly blame them, they must have been so bored!! Anyway they will be moving to King Ed after half term. I will not miss it at all.
