Stupidity...

Whoever thought that getting the 0540 train to London for a meeting and then getting the 5pm train home again was a good idea is a total fuckwit.

I'm too old for pulling a 17 hour day.

On the plus side, I had a lovely lunch with one of my friends in our London office, had a pretty successful meeting, managed to negotiate the tubes both forms and scored a seat in first class with my open return ticket that I couldn't reserve a space with. Then I saw this little sundog from the window. Good day for a balloon ride.

Left the flat at 0510 and got home at 2210. Knackered doesn't cover it!
