New Lanark

The kids were off school, and the missus and I were both off work, so we headed down to New Lanark. We pretty much had the place to ourselves, and, given the weather, we ended up have quite a pleasant day out.

Took the boys to the shows in Bathgate later on. The boys had been said they wanted to go, so we went down for them opening at 5.30pm. They weren't your typical shows, no no - these were your special, fenced-in "mobile theme-park", which meant the missus and I had to pay £6.99 each to get in (in addition to the £6.99 each for the boys). Once in, the boys had pretty much exhausted the hand-full of rides the could go on within the first 15 minutes or so.
