Wildlife day

Wildlife everywhere today!

Have chased what I am sure has been the same butterfly out of the house more times than I can remember.... Have also had to stop the cat eating it and it silently fluttered up behind me one of the times and got caught in my hair!

Have rescued a wee fledgling chaffinch from my wee water feature.... I am sure it is the same one that has now been cheeping VERY loudly from the hedge for the last 2 hours. Am sure its parents have been going back and forth but it is never full!

The bird that Guinness kindly brought it in this morning and dumped on the bedroom floor seemed very dead and as I was sleepy I left it until it was time to get up... was woken by a noise and found that it had resurrected itself and was trying to flutter about the room.....

And finally to my blip.... I went looking for an adder as there is a spot they like to sunbathe at the back of the garden. No snakes but this little guy was enjoying the sun instead.
