Karlshagen Memorial

Memorial by Klaus Roesler to the victims of Karlshagen Arbeitslager. Between 1936 and 1945 the Army Research Centre and the Luftwaffe test site were located at Peenemunde on Usedom. Thousands of prisoners were used in the construction of the facilities and the building of the V2 rocket. They were held at the Karlshagen forced labour camp.
