Backblip

Climbed up to the top of the Longman of Wilmington to watch some friends take part in a friendly competition with their radio controlled gliders. 
Points are awarded for how many loops then barrel rolls completed in a given time, for how long you can take your hands off the transmitter before you take control again, how many times you can limbo under the air gate and finally points for a spot landing. 
It's quite a surreal sport as they're silent and apart from friendly ribbing upon unscheduled landings pretty much silent pilots.
We had a hawk join us for a bit but wouldn't oblige with a photo opportunity.
