this is one of the enormous, dust cloud creating machines that modern harvests seem to need. A friend's son has had a job driving a combine and wasn't allowed to leave the cab all day, not for food or hmm, "comfort breaks".
On the drive to work I'd been listening to a Today programme feature about malnourished children in Africa - living in a village where food is grown, but too poor to get any.
