Day 10 following a line drawn on the map from Glossop town centre. In previous years the 10th line would have brought me to a view towards the Snake pass at this point.

There is more to this than meets the eye. Everything is changing in Glossop, well that's what we are being told and many people hope.

What's the catalyst for change I hear you ask?

Apparently the arrival of M&S (opening next month) will provide the spark and other businesses are following them into the town.

Will this turn Glossop from a town that people drive through (all be it slowly over all the narrow road approaches ) into one where Peak District tourists actually stop and look around?
