Road signs for homing pigeons no.1

CB spotted this as we took afternoon tea in the Trading Post, Abergavenny, and I took advantage of it!

Actually we were supposed to be having a cream tea at another place for which CB had a voucher, but it turned out it closed at 4.00 pm. Crazy! I was brought up to believe 4 o'clock was tea-time in Britain! Who eats cream teas before then?
