Woodland Mono
Because the weather looked like was going to break in the afternoon we decided to split the day into two parts a morning photographing in the woods at the edge of Derwentwater near Hawes End and a Photoshop session in the afternoon. It was fairly overcast for much of the morning so we had to work hard in post processing to get sufficient contrast in our pictures. The shot I am blipping is one I showed in the evening critique session which John felt needed a bit more work, so you have the amended version which is a bit more punchy.
Prior to breakfast a group of us had gone up to Castlerigg and the morning light was quite magical but only in lighting up the hills and not the stone circle itself.
