Nostalgia

After a short night (Chrissel's flight was half an hour late), we didn't get to the hotel until 00:30 this morning and we had to leave before 8am because of a surprise I'd planned; I drove us both to Kent to go on the Kent and East Sussex railway. It is an old steam railway running from Tenterden to Bodiam. I grew up on a farm in Ewhurst where at the time the disused railway ran through it. In the 20 years since I left the line has been reopened. It was lovely travelling through and seeing the farmland. I also drove Chrissel around the area and showed her some of the sights. A great day
