English Half Marathon in Warrington.

Wasn't feeling fit, offered to pace my friend David but we got lost in fr pre race emergency wee queues .

Dash for the start line followed by bombing it round for 13.1 miles .
Hills ,and heat

Kept at it and got a shiny new PB 1:49:49 , have targeted a sub 1:50 for years

Delighted .

Drinks with Layra afterwards who lives near Warrington and haven't seen her for a year

All the makings of a good day. Right up to watch the grand final of traithlon. Absolutely gutted for Jonny. Alistair was a hero though .

Maybe I will give Jonny my race medal to cheer him up .
