New Town and Road Markings

On my way home.  The grandeur of the New Town contrasts with prosaic road markings at crazy angles.

This evening my tongue, throat and lower Eustachian tubes have thoroughly swollen up and become painful.  It's rather unpleasant, and is restricting my ability to eat and talk.  The former may be a good dieting opportunity, and I guess the latter give people around me some peace and quiet...
