Salford Docks: Dock 9

Dock 9 is the largest of the docks and was the site of the Manchester Liners container service to Montreal. Today the upper reaches contain cleaned water and have been cut off from their former connection to the Manchester Ship Canal.

Salford Docks were purchased by Salford City Council in 1984 and the Salford Quays Development Plan adopted in 1985 - this is part of the result.
