A Rare Sight
When we first moved to Blackheath, thirty five years ago, it was a quiet place.
If you wanted to to go to the fruit shop you'd drive up the road and park outside the fruit shop.
Nowadays parking is at a premium, and sometimes it's just been so difficult that I've turned around and gone home.
So when I left the pub at 10:15, where I'd been involved in helping our team come third in trivial pursuit, I was taken aback by the emptiness of Govetts Leap Rd.
My little car was the only one in sight.
Such a rare sight that I felt compelled to record it.
