Dan and Abi. D 'n' A. DnA.

This portrait captures them pretty well, I think. Dan approachable, Abi a little more guarded. 

But if you know what you're looking for - some amusement in the eyes, the hint of a small on the lips - Abi is ready to have a laugh with you. She's that bit sharper, that bit more acerbic, than Dan. 

And yet she loves his honest humour and, equally, he enjoys her darker wit. Together, they are great company, which I enjoyed at the curry house, this evening. (This was belated delivery of the meal I promised them last night but, by eight o'clock, everyone was  stuffed and Dan was only one demonstrating any enthusiasm for it.)
