Quick breather

Today has been a bit of a recovery day after all the excitement of yesterday - once the buzz of the show had died down we then attended a small surprise birthday party for a friend. And like all the best parties it ended up with a visit to A&E.

This was due to the party including everyone's kids and the bunch of boys, aged between 5 and 16 playing a game of late evening football. Which as usual ended up in a form of wrestling scrum with everyone in a heap on top of Campbell and his arm being wrenched in the process. So off we trotted to A&E to get him checked out. No serious damage, just some strained muscles and tendons.

So today was spent with everyone lazing about the house but I did manage to nip on my bike for a couple of hours later in the day. During which I popped in to visit Poppy. We had a wee wander round her garden and her refurbished house (wow, what a fabulous job they have done, it looks wonderful) and then she accompanied me on her bike a couple of miles up the road as I headed home. Should have taken a pic whilst I was there but I totally forgot and instead I had to grab this one on the way home whilst I stopped for a breather.
