Leaves on the turn

The leaves are on the turn, as are the seasons. I even felt cold in my office this afternoon and was obliged to put on the spare jumper that I keep in my cupboard for such emergencies.

Meanwhile my PhD students have been posting on Twitter glorious views of the Adriatic from the conference at which they are presenting their (our) work this week. How I wish I could be there with them!

Exercise today: walk to work and back (16,421 steps).
