Low Visibility
Chinese cities are notorious for air pollution but Nanchang, generally speaking, is not too bad in comparison. The low visibility today is not a result of pollution. Instead we can blame the weather. The recent typhoon that hit Shanghai arrived in Nanchang yesterday with heavy rain and high winds - though as we are an inland city (an hour and a half from the coast by plane) we just got a storm rather than the full typhoon. The rain, combined with a temperature hitting about 30C, has resulted in a thick mist which is blanketing the city.
