Ladybird

A kind neighbour gave me a bunch of Freesias this morning. It wasnt until I was putting them in water that I noticed a very tiny visitor on an unopened bud. It was a Steel Blue ladybird and one of the smallest I have seen.

When it was up on the screen I noticed the ladybird had an even tinier drop of rain hanging from it.

These steel blue ladybirds seem to be the only ones around these days. I haven't seen a red or spotted one in ages.
