Seasonal

The Mums are out in the stores.  There are piles of pumpkins and the apple orchard is starting to make cider.... but it is really still summer.

Today was a real monday.  Asked for a document at work where I had to fill in unknowable fields (Is this critical?)- Then after it was turned in, had a conversation where upper management explained to me that it is not critical and the request was "held until a later quarter" (denied) and then there was a meeting after lunch where someone tried to explain to me how important it was that I get this other thing done - we promised it would be done (well - actually we never promised - but they forget that part) Blah blah - 

Some days I wish I was independently wealthy.
