Into Life, Rain Falls

We've had mild to heavy rains for several days in a row.  This morning, the thunder sounded like large trucks crashing in the yard.  The scene above is looking out the garage door to the driveway and the street rapidly being covered by water.  Please try in large, although I find it difficult to capture the rain with the detail and thrust I am seeking.
