Looking for romance

I was not looking for personal romance today - I've been too tired to think of anything except the things that have to be done - but I did fancy producing a beautiful image from the garden.

This is a 3 image multi-exposure of our sweet peas. They have been wonderful this year and there are still lots of flowers looking good. The perfume surrounded me while I made the image.

This morning was the last committee meeting before the walking festival. There was a lot to check. Most things are fine, but some of the recces have still not been done. We asked walk leaders to ensure they were all done at least 2 weeks before the festival, but a few have not found this possible. Hopefully there will be no nasty surprises on the routes.

The bookings are pretty good, although we would like a few more on the short walks.

This afternoon I made a spreadsheet for the Poland holiday (next July) with everyone's passport numbers on it. I sent it off and was then asked for everyone's dates of birth and the way "the ladies like to be addressed". That will have to wait for another day.

Tonight was the Tynedale Photo Group with a bravura performance in monochrome from our own Phil Warren. He continues to work primarily with film and does wonderful dark room printing.

And so to bed......hopefully for sweet dreams.
