The world minted new

Taken from the flight from Oslo to Tromso. The bare rock terrain of the spine of Norway and Sweden. Looking as if the ice sheets had only just retreated - which in geological time is more or less true. 

The flight is gradually squeezed towards the coast and with that the clouds came in. A strong cross wind made landing interesting.

We are camped out in a rather swish waterfront hotel and hoping that the nordlys (northern lights) will put in an appearance during our stay.
