Cheapest visit ever to the notaire: it turned out that to achieve what we want we need to do nothing, and the advice was free. His office is in this very grand and lovely building with its porte-cochère and courtyard garden; see extra for the folly. I thought I must have blipped it before but apparently I haven't.

In other news, after I turned down the large job last week, the same client has now asked me to quote for a smaller job :) So working life survives!
