Filming at Osborne House

Over the next few weeks Osborne House will be the location for a feature film about Queen Victoria and her friendship with an Indian clerk Abdul Karim who took the place of her confident John Brown.
Dame Judi Dench is reprising her role of Victoria which she played in the film Mrs Brown co starring Billy Connolly asJohn Brown, also partly filmed at Osborne.
The lower flowers and shrubs in this shot are real but up on the terrace they are plastic dressed for the filming.
