Pregnant Pause

No matter what happened today, my blip was always going to have to be the news that I'm 13 weeks pregnant! Today we had our scan, the relief at seeing the heart beating was pretty immense! 
Took Asha to the park after school to tell her, she was happy but underwhelmed, though did suggest we should buy the baby a keyring as a gift! Ha!
It's been SUCH a joy to tell people our news, it's taken a looooong time to get to this point, in fact I never thought we would. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) This little life!
2) Being out of the first trimester...almost! It's been a pretty horrible (health wise) time and I'm looking forward to getting to the blissful 2nd trimester!
3) The love & warmth people have shown us today.
