D for destroyer...or dalek???

Good to see there's still a bit of shipbuilding life left on the Clyde. This is HMS Duncan, the last of six D-class destroyers that have been built here in the past few years.
I was lucky enough to be at the launching of one of them, HMS Dragon. Quite a sight to see it sliding down the slipway.
Duncan is pictured here at the former Yarrows shipyard at Scotstoun. It looks as though she is carrying one of Dr Who's enemy daleks on board.
