MonoMonday139: Seasonal

The Barred Owl pair has been visiting the yard/pond at this time of the year for the past three years so...I guess that makes them a 'Seasonal Thing'. This year's 'owlets' have been sent off to lives of their own, and these two are just kind of 'kicking-back', storing up energy for the coming winter. They were both out there again this morning, sitting on the 'favorite' branch in the Winged Elm tree. From that vantage point they have a good view of both the pond and the bog. The dogs were let out after their breakfast and the owls flew off. What amazing creatures to see in the morning, anytime for that matter. So very fortunate! :)
