Nautical but nice!

Liverpool Pride 2012. My first ever Pride event had a nautical theme and was a very colourful affair.
It poured with rain for the early part of the day, but it didn't seem to dampen anyone's enthusiasm or enjoyment.

I photographed Julia getting into her very creative and elaborate jellyfish outfit. I know who I'll ask to make my costume the next time I'm invited to a fancy dress party.
So many people must have spent hours making costumes for the march. The closest I came to looking nautical was to dress in navy blue!

Thanks to the members of the Liverpool LGBT choir who looked after me...I had a ball.
