A 3-week-old piece of bread
This is my tribute to sourdough bread and one of the first things I made after getting home from our holiday.

There was a piece I had left there sitting on our kitchen table, wrapped in a kitchen cloth, for my sis who didn't eat it and here it is, more then three week later with no sign of mould or any other deterioration apart from being hard like a rock. I do love sourdough. My next loaf is sitting in our fridge, waiting to be baked tomorrow and eaten to the last crumb.
