Hospices de Beaune
The place was donated in the 15 th century to the poor people of Beaune to give them a place where they could be cured and treated for free.
The Chancellor of Burgundy Nicolas Rolin donated this hospital in 1443 which originally had 30 beds and existed as a hospital until around 1960! The beds and the original design can still be seen there. Very impressive
