Bits and Pieces Day

Mr L's weekend off, he gets one in three and most times we have a long list of things to do or places to go, but today there was nothing pressing. I could have gardened, the weather was great, and the garden sure. Outdoor do with it, but seemed silly to spend what will essentially be the last summer weekend off to stay home.

Mr L's knees not good today (RA) so I walked Dog (briskly to walk off last evenings exceeds calories) after breakfast. This man was getting his canoe ready and set off, it looked very inviting!

Later went to Dunelm for some curtains and towels. I really don't like the peach towels we have and they don't match anything since we decorated the bathroom. Nice white towels purchased but sadly not the curtains I'm after for the dining room. Next to Hooby Craft for a canvas, brushes (for Himself, certainly not me) and as I have the girls next weekend I bought a 'paint your own elf on a shelf' for Mollie in case the weather turns and we are left indoors.
