Circuit Des Remparts

A fab day at the classic car street racing in Angouleme. And gosh, its not easy to take pictures of cars at speed. Respect to the sports photographers who get great shots of cars going far faster than the classics strutting their stuff here. 

So I tried deliberately slowing the shutter speed to get some motion blur. This is an effort from a race of magnificent pre-war Bugattis - all dicing with each other round tight bends inches (sorry - centimetres) from the barriers.

The extra is the victorious driver returning to the paddock.
