Old St. Mary's Church

Old St. Marys church was built in 1841 and was the heart of the German catholic community. The architecture and design that went into this building is truly a work of art. The elaborate design on the ceiling looks as if it is 3D, but is actually all hand painted. The stain glass on the windows is also special. It has more artwork on it rather than passages in the bible, which makes it one of a kind. I enjoyed my visit to the church and it was better than expected.
