Natural reflections...

... compared to the man-made reflections I blipped yesterday.

We visited Plumpton Rocks this  morning. Though this beauty spot is only a couple of miles from home, it is quite a few years since we last visited the place. The conditions were near perfect even down to the fluffy white clouds appearing on cue for this photograph.

The particular millstone grit rocks in the photo actually feature in a couple of paintings by J M W Turner, Plompton Rocks, commissioned by Lord Harewood from nearby Harewood House.
