A birthday party

There is a family birthday party at an adjoining table.  We are enjoying a long Sunday lunch under the pines close to the Atlantic, the sun is shining and everyone is enjoying the atmosphere; Phoebe and George are 'asleep' under the table having had a grumble at the local cat.
