Inverness Campus, Plot 8. Recently unveiled sign for the building out of shot to the left.
They seem to be only taking up about half the plot, so plenty room for expansion, or even another building or two. Might be able to take an Aurora shot from here, with the building in it. Would be a challenge with all the streetlights about. I'm more likely to go to the usual spot, with it's more open and attractive view adding to the scene. Double exposure, maybe? Hmmm...
Lots of really good drystane dykes around the campus. Using slate, rather than rounded boulders, should make it easier to build, and they'll probably last better too. Would hazard a guess that the stone (or stane) is Caithness slate, rather than anything from nearer by.
Grey day. The rain started as soon as the camera came out. Quick snap, and pedal off home to prepare for tomorrow's mega photo shoot.
