Gentle hint?

I know that Cleo gets her toys out at night and plays with them because the evidence is there in the morning - but I'm not sure what this is about!
This last week when I've gone to the kitchen first thing each morning, one of her toys has been in her food bowl.
Playing picnics perhaps... advanced communication... or just coincidence? She has the dining room and kitchen to herself so no space restriction.
Very strange...
