Via ferrata

Finally plumped for the Lakes over Aviemore for a weekend away. Took the car to Hoister from where Mme A took a long bike ride back back to Keswick and I did the via ferrata "extreme" with Miss K. Apart from the long wire bridge it was a bit tame for both of us (and rather pricey) and I'm glad we went off first. But it was interesting to explore the old mine workings along the way and the views were great, particularly from the top [see extra]. After a good meal in Keswick we put up the tent by the light of the full moon.
