I've Looked At Clouds . . .

Stillness beneath
Unsettled skies Mokoia's
Silent silhouette

After a better nights sleep I felt up to going out for a blip.  The forester took me to Holden's Bay.  It is the next road leading down to the lake on the eastern side after this view.  There is a large expanse of pumice sand beach and in the summer it's a good place to picnic with young children.  You can see Mokoia Island in outline.  It is now a sanctuary for endangered birds.  In the past Maori maintained gardens for kumara (sweet potato)  It was also a useful place to retreat to in troubled times between tribes.
Before blip I never really noticed the effect the sky could have on a scene or the shapes of clouds.
Thank you for the best wishes on my health.  What a kind community this is.  I do feel more alive today but still not going on all six cylinders.
