Sharp and soft

Out with the camera club on a guided walk around the Charnwood Lodge nature reserve.

The contrast of the sharpness of the thistle and the soft delicate seed caught my eye, but I hadn't realised I had the camera still set on a high iso, hence the graininess of the image.

Can't tear myself away from the olympics, another world record broken tonight.
