It's Gonna Look Different in a Few Minutes

Waiting for the gates to open at the 59th annual Monterey Jazz Festival. This is our 23rd year of ushering. A few years ago they started laying down real sod in the arena to keep the dust down. It will get rolled up and discarded in a couple days and the dust bowl will be back. Tonight's lineup includes vocalist Cecile McLorin Salvant, Richard Bona, and a tribute to Quincy Jones featuring Hubert Laws.
