Bee-autiful!
A gorgeous day here in East Yorkshire. It certainly brought the crowds out on the roads to Bridlington.
Took a trip out to some local garden centres today on the lookout for some suitable plants to fill in some gaps. Terrific displays of Helenium and Coreopsis were absolutely covered in bees of all kinds. Sadly there are so few butterflies around even with the Buddleia in full bloom.
This flower is an Astrantia. Great as you can see for bees and a fabulous flower shape too - like stars.
