Today's the day ............................. to do something different

My very first 'big' blipmeet today at Fellfoot Park at the southern end of Windermere.  Good to make the acquaintance of blippers that I 'knew' - in the actual flesh.  More details here.

Nicer still to abscond with two VIPs of the blipmeet and to spend a leisurely afternoon at Arnside.  We watched this woman and her dog as they waded through the water right over to the other side of the Kent Estuary - and then back again.  She must have walked right past all the notices warning of the dire consequences of fast incoming tides, quicksand and strong currents - but they obviously were of no concern.

Or maybe she just felt like doing something different .........................
