OPENING CEREMONY

Bacon sandwich to begin the day.....always a good start.
Then I got the train into school...on a Saturday ...such dedication!!!

I was one of the first there so helped set up, put out sandwiches and sort out the DJ. The head and I then went to the local supermarket to get the drinks....however we somehow got lost!!!! don't ask how....chatting I think!!! I was worried we weren't going to get back in time!!!!
However we made it before the dignities from the council, church and education arrived. Then it was time for my biggest challenge....my first choir performance. I've been persuaded to run the school choir....with little musical skill but just a love of children singing!!!. They did really well

Then it was a tour of the new vegetable garden and flower garden on the estate...thanks to the Hampton Court Flower Show donation....a blessing by the bishop...then on to open the curtain, plant a few flowers and then afternoon tea.

A slightly chaotic but fun afternoon.

260/366....a chance to be part of the ceremony and achieve my challenge.
