Chutney Lasses

It's been a fine day, plenty of sunny spells and warm too.  

My weekend on in the museum.  There was an event on today, and thankfully all setup and ready to go.  It's been a steady day of visitors too.  Enjoyed a fine big walk with Sammy after tea, even snapped a few selfies with a Shetland pony.  Popped down to mam's this evening.  Sister Julie and family are down from Unst.  Head back home for another quiet night in :)

When I arrived at mam's, they were all busy chopping mam's homegrown beetroot, onions etc, to make a chutney.  Amongst the cups of tea, chats and laughs, it's finally all in the pot and ready to cook.  Here's sister Julie, niece Eve and mam and get the final bits together and in the pot.  Taken at Aith, Cunningsburgh.
