Blippers

Another special day this has been – blip meet day!!

We left Keswick (beautiful weather) and headed south to Windermere, the meeting time 11 ish, place being Foot Fell Park (oops, we were late, not realising just how long the journey would take) – well someone has to be last.  And OMG, what a splendid, photogenic spot Paula & Sheila had suggested.  Tree covered hills, glorious water, boats reflected in the lake, families, dogs, oldies you name it they were there, but there was ample room for everyone.  We enjoyed a good chat, had a coffee.  The blip meet was a special time, lovely folk from all over.  Some I knew, some I didn’t but do now.  Such friendly folk us blippers.

We are now in Kendall and staying with Sheila & Will tonight.  This afternoon they took us to Arnside (home of Gladders & Gus) -  a beautiful place, we walked along the shore, then up the hill into a small paddock field, found a Red Admiral who sat for us.  Thrilled.  Then we sat outside enjoying a beer while soaking up the sunshine and the views.

Dinner is served - so spoilt and loving it :)
